On 25.06.26 Brikkho Foundation officially commenced Mission Green Santiniketan with the successful completion of its first field visit on 25 June 2026. The initiative, undertaken in collaboration with the IPL Foundation and the Department of Lifelong Learning & Extension (LLE), Visva-Bharati, marks the beginning of a long-term environmental restoration programme focused on tree plantation, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable community development.

The field visit was organized to identify suitable plantation sites, engage with local communities, and finalize implementation plans for the upcoming plantation drive. Representatives from all partner organizations interacted with villagers to understand local environmental needs and encourage community participation in protecting and nurturing planted trees.
